this charming lidded jar is thrown on the wheel, glazed inside with a cream white glaze and outside with a turquoise/light blue one, but the rim of the cover is left unglazed; the color comes from the flame in the wood-fired kiln; the different "flashings" show the power of the flame.
the spots are naturally inside the clay - Pyrite.
this would be a perfect housewarming or hostess gift for the next dinner party you attend or for your beloved cook...if you are able to give it away and not keep it for yourself.... :-))

food+ dishwasher+ microwave safe.

due to the materials and the technique I use, all pieces are slightly different and unique.
all pieces have my workshop sign on the bottom.
