Family Tree Notebook fill-in-the-blank-template is easy to personalize for gifts or leave blank to be completed by recipients. Convenient to have on hand when you need gift ideas for babies, men or women, for upcoming occasions such as shower, wedding, anniversary, birthday, baptism, holiday, Christmas, Thanksgiving family reunion or anytime, just-for-fun. Unique, beautiful heirloom gifts are extra-special for new baby, bride/groom, parents, grandparents, mother/father-in-law, relatives, teachers and friends. Take notes while you learn about ancestors. Keep track of genealogy with this organizer journal. It’s all about collecting, saving and passing on the ancestry history of one child or a group of siblings (brothers/sisters). This booklet is a perfect tool to gather all the random bits and pieces of the past and compile them into one beautiful keepsake to cherish.
Many people have quite a few unknowns because of lost records; that’s okay—spaces can be left blank and filled in later if research is done gradually. The meaningful and important thing to do is to enter or write down what is known now before it is forgotten. Future generations will appreciate knowing about their roots.
Enjoy this fun, useful workbook to help preserve facts: names, dates, places; and also write about personal memories. Every branch of a family tree holds the people who shaped and formed each unique individual ever born into this world. Predecessors’ experiences are interesting. The Spirit inspires faith, gives life, thankfulness, joy and growth through forefathers and mothers as they teach us about good character virtues, hard work ethic, perseverance in tough times and lessons from mistakes. Our physical appearance is inherited from their biological DNA. Precious moments are those spent gathering stories about lives of loved ones. We celebrate those who gave us life and love us. We honor our elders by asking questions to concisely organize their biographical outline—a heritage story to pass on to next generations of children and grandchildren.

Doctors often inquire about potentially genetic health issues of grandparents or their cause of death (see number 16 above). The Family Tree Notebook is a great place to jot down helpful information for your physician—illnesses, diseases, etc.

Simple to use:
The cover of Family Tree Notebook has a chart illustrated with numbers which match-up to the circled numbers on the pages. Put the youngest generation child (or siblings) on number one; add the father’s side of the family on number 4–33; begin the mother’s side on number 34–63. Even circled numbers are for fraternal information (men). Odd circled numbers are for the maternal lineage (females). 2-page spreads of the open-print-edition book show each couple’s information on the left-and-right-hand pages (optional Ebook edition has spreads laid out as single 11 x 8.5" pages and back/front cover combined on the first page).
A blank page is available for anything you may choose to add, located on the first page after the front cover, across from number one. My example shows this space filled with Bible verses, Lord’s Prayer, and a personal note. This space can be left blank or a personal message to the gift recipient could be written here—whatever you want.
Family Tree Notebook provides the ability to record ancestry of six generations on 63 spots:
1. One child or group of siblings (at the bottom of the chart)
2. Two parents—one mother, one father
3. Four grandparents
4. Eight great grandparents
5. 16 great great grandparents
6. 32 great great great grandparents
Serious genealogists may continue the history of 7, 8, 9, 10, 11 generations and beyond by mentioning people from other generations in the “other information” area or by adding more volumes. Read more about adding charts (book volumes) here https://www.etsy.com/listing/63987573/33-blank-family-tree-charts-for-6-or-up . This link talks about how to create a library of 33 charts (or booklets).

Men and women enjoy recording family history as a remembrance of loved ones. Descendants receive positive benefits by understanding sacrifices others have made. Knowledge of the past provides a sense of responsibility, self-esteem and courage to make changes. Collecting information satisfies those questions of where you came from. It’s an inexpensive activity because references are available through brothers, sisters, cousins, aunts, uncles, friends, loved ones, internet, churches, governmental archives, historical societies, genealogy organizations and libraries. It’s a good way to connect to the people in your present as well as your past. Genealogy is considered by some to be the fastest-growing hobby in the North America. Search for websites and Facebook Groups and you will see that millions of people are interested in finding ways to locate family or friends with whom they had lost touch. It’s worldwide and crosses cultures and faiths.
